RETURNS POLICY

We hope you love all your purchases from Home & Clan.

Please choose carefully as we do not allow for change of mind returns for custom orders, furniture, bedding, books, oversized lighting (inc floor lamps), shades, seasonal items (including Christmas & Easter) or lay-bys.

We offer an exchange on other items provided they are unused & returned within 7 days (with shipping at buyers expense) in as-new condition with proof of purchase.

 

Product Information

Every effort is made to display details, size, features & colours as accurately as possible. Slight variations may occur.

Colours cannot be guaranteed due to variations in screen displays. Detailed photos and fabrics samples can be provided by contacting us.

Please read product description carefully and take note of the dimensions tab on each product page with measurements/size and consider if the goods are the right fit for your intended purpose.

Consumer Law

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund/ repair/ exchange, where a product is not fit for purpose, is faulty or has been misrepresented.

Missed Delivery

We will provide you with as much information as we can regarding delivery. If you fail to take delivery of goods by courier or private company, you will be re-charged the delivery fee in  order to organise a second delivery.

In the event of a missed delivery of furniture (including our 2 man delivery service), the goods will be returned to Home & Clan or stored at the depot until payment is made and re-delivery can be organised.

 

Shipping & Delivery Delays

If an item is damaged in transit, please email within 24 hours with photos and details.

We will always do our absolute best to meet the estimated delivery dates. Where a delay occurs, please be assured that we will continue to genuinely try to meet supply agreements, exercise due diligence and take reasonable precautions.

Due to the current global shipping situation and impacts of Covid-19, there may be instances of delivery delays that are beyond our control. In these cases, we will continue to work closely with the supplier/carrier and keep you up to date. In these scenarios beyond our control, please be aware that we do not consider this to be grounds for a refund or exchange.

Due to worldwide supply chain and delivery delays, we continue to operate under the Consumer Law Act to meet expectations of delivery within a ‘reasonable timeframe’ (the definition of which will take into account the nature of the order and the cause of the delay).

Home & Clan will collect the information provided by you in order to fulfill your order. This includes name, address & contact details. These are held on file for record purposes. Please contact us if you would like us to remove your details from file.
